DDE
SpecView has a DDE server option.
This allows 3rd party programs such as MS Excel or Visual Basic to acquire data from SpecView and also to send it back.
Possible uses of this are:
- Display Real-time Data inside Excel
- Use Visual basic to perform complex data analysis on real-time values
- Interface to Databases (may have to have a VB interface)
