Updates for existing SpecView 32-Users

The current build of SpecView may be a free update to your existing program, please read the details carefully below before downloading:

To check the date on your existing version of SpecView, run the program, go into either Runtime mode or Configuration mode, and go to the Help menu. Choose “Registration Info” and look at the fields shown below:

DongleInfo3

1) If the initialized date is prior to 2005, then you MUST contact your SpecView distributor, or SpecView directly to purchase an update subscription.

2) If the free updates expiry time has passed, then you may need to renew your update subscription to ensure that this latest version of SpecView will work.  If you install this latest version without contacting your SpecView distributor or SpecView directly, then the updated software will operate with limited functionality.
If you do not see the ‘Free Updates’ line in the list, then installing this update will work as expected.

If the ‘Free Updates’ date is in the future, download these files to update existing installations. Install it in the same directory to overwrite and update the older SpecView files - this will not affect any configurations or screens already defined. As always, it is highly recommended that you make an archive of your current configuration and data before installing the new version.

Download SpecView here.

Backward Compatibility of SpecView Configurations

Configurations created or edited with this version of SpecView may not be loaded into previous builds of SpecView below 825.

Updates for older SpecView 16-bit Users

Users with the older 16-bit SpecView (builds up to 585) may download these files to update to SpecView 32. Note that once a configuration has been loaded into SpecView32, it cannot then be used again in the older SpecView 16. Please backup your configurations, or install SpecView32 into a different directory than the existing software and copy the configurations across. Contact SpecView if you need help with this.
