Release date: 27th Dec 2016

Fixes and improvements:

General:

Fastcount would not always start correctly without exiting SpecView and running it again. SETTINGS.INI setting for Fastcount can now be changed on-the-fly and takes effect from going Online in the Project
When a Runtime-Only dongle is connected the 'New Manual Project' and 'Test comms for New Project' buttons are now grayed-out
An instance of Failed To Come Out Of Runtime fixed

GDW:

Full Screen mode at Runtime does not work EditMode->RT
Scrollbars need to be wider for larger screens
GDW Corruption when loading GDOs has been fixed for new Objects, but some oddities remain with older GDWs
Buttons defined with System font > 10 < 20 are now resized to 10 by default now, unless ForceSystem10=N in [Settings] section of SV3.INI
Horizontal scrollbars made wider to allow smaller screens to view larger projects

Trend Charts:

Export to CSV not working
Current batch no chosen for batch replay is shown on the trend chart
Time Axes disappear on Batch replay with rescaled axes
Trend chart batch replay would sometimes blank the Time axes or the chart itself when the batch end was replayed to
Memory leak in Trend Chart CSV export
Trend Chart Setup dialog box could crash if the same pen was on a chart more than once

Variables List:

Enum Names are overwritten to the originals every time during IDF update. Unless AutoUpdateEnum=N in [CONFIG] section of SV3.INI

Data Logging:

Attempt to read over corrupt log file
Crash when editing log report formats fixed
Lockup in logging when a large number of interrelated parameters going unavailable
A Logfile corruption caused a crash in log file convert. It now skips over the zeroed blocks and attempts to re-sync the next available good data
SpecView Modbus exception code 18211 (Modbus exception code 11) was not treated as a timeout, which caused SpecView to request the parameter at the usual rate instead of turning the instrument off. With lots of instruments off this caused a runaway situation with nothing being scanned

Batches:

Large number of Batch Tags would stop working after a certain point

Historical Replay:

Batch replay crashes sometimes

QuickList:

Crash in QuickList when it is initially too short for Strategy Add

Strategy Controller:

Lockups when Strategy is Closing screens automatically
Some Strategy Controller Actions could cause an Unclean exit

Languages:

The Add/Rename Instruments box had a problem in the German Language
German Archive Dialog fault at end of dialog

ActiveX:

ActiveX controls work even if ActiveX option not enabled on the dongle

ModBus:

Modbus can crash sometimes on exit from Runtime with Serial devices. Does not affect TCP/IP
Modbus Scaling-Of-Numbers (SON) problems fixed
Entering a lot of TCPIMD driver commands messed up the Driver commands window columns
Crash with Buffered parameters avoided

Drivers:

FGH driver cannot open COM ports numbered > 9
Crash when defining certain new instruments while Online

New HC900 SPP import naming scheme, controlled by a SETTINGS.INI setting, see Help on HC900 import here
