SpecView does not support the Q series natively.

However some Q series PLCs can take Modbus/RTU cards, which SpecView does support.

See Modbus Addressing for details on how to specify the instrument's address in SpecView

At the time of writing there are 2 ranges of Q series:

oQn range
oQnAS range

The QnAS rack does allow it to take the A series cards. Therefore it should allow you to use either:

oA1SJ71UC24-R2-S2 - Modbus (ASCII + RTU) interface module, RS232C connection (slave)
oA1SJ71UC24-R4-S2 - Modbus (ASCII + RTU) interface module, RS422/485 connection (slave)

If you use either card it must be set to Modbus/RTU. The R2 is single-drop and the R4 multi-drop. At the time of writing we do NOT have any customers using either card and so cannot guarantee results!
