Windows Font Scaling
Windows has the concept of font scaling in order to make existing applications useable on very high resolution screens. Without font scaling their user interfaces would be too small to be useable.
The font scaling percentage is set via the Display settings in the Windows Control Panel. This can be accessed quickly by right-clicking on the Desktop and choosing Display. The font scaling could be set to, for example, 150% which would enlarge the fonts by one-and-a-half times.
The effect of font scaling means that when choosing a font the point size of the font will not be the value chosen. SpecView displays the font in the text font box as it will look when it is used.
