SpecView offers Runtime-Only licenses that prevent the user from entering Edit mode and making changes to the project.
These licenses are useful:
| • | If there are several copies of SpecView in the facility and one full copy is used for all project editing. The edited project is then transferred to the SpecView Runtime-Only computers. This is typically done to reduce costs. |
| • | For OEMs or systems' integrators who develop projects for their customers and do not want them to be able to make any changes. |
Be aware that ALL changes, including adding and changing passwords, MUST be done with a full SpecView license. If the project is edited without a license (in Demo mode) it will not be allowed to run, a warning box is displayed to advise of this:
