In SpecView Version 2.5 there is the Short List. This is an abbreviated list of an instrument's parameters displayed in the Parameter List box. Typically the Short List contains just the most important parameters for an instrument in order to keep it simple. However, only one Parameter List box can be displayed at any one time, and those parameters can only be from a single instrument.

 

The Quick List is a method of marking particularly important parameters/variables from ALL instruments and User Variables in the Variables List, such that their values can be easily accessed and modified from Runtime Mode.

There is a new Button Attribute and Strategy Controller Action to invoke the Quick List.
