SpecView Help

This menu command starts SpeView's help system and displays the contents page.

 

Using Help

Starts the help system for Windows

 

About SpecView

Toolbar:TB_HLP

Displays the SpecView version and build information.

Displays the serial number, enabled options and status of the SpecView dongle.

 

Click Enable Further Options to upgrade the dongle.

 

Click the Release Notes button for details on changes made to SpecView such as new features and fixed problems.

 

If you need to contact SpecView's Technical Support you may be asked to click the Technical Info button to provide further details of your specific installation.

Remote Support

This launches TeamViewer (www.teamviewer.com) to allow your SpecView Representative to access your computer over the Internet to assist with technical queries and resolving problems, while speaking on the phone or using TeamViewer's 'chat' window.

 

This is a secure method of access over the Internet requiring you to give the ID and password generated by TeamViewer to your SpecView representative.

The password is unique for each TeamViewer session so won't compromise security.

Using TeamViewer is the most efficient way of allowing your SpecView representative to assist and support you.
