In earlier versions of SpecView modifications to SpecView's program settings had to be done by hand by editing the Settings.ini file. It is now strongly recommended to use Preferences... from the File menu instead.
The Preferences box, accessed by Preferences on the File menu, allows modification of almost all the configurable items in Settings.ini (This file is in the Project's sub-folder within the installation folder, which is by default C:\SV3).
The exceptions are listed here and these will need to be entered manually into the SETTINGS.INI file.
