These are the screens you look at using SpecView.

GDWs (or GD3s) are created or edited in Edit Mode  and used in Runtime Mode

Data is shown on a GDW (or GD3) in four ways:

•        Instrument Views

•        Numerically

•        As a Pen on a Trend chart

•        Bar Chart

 

The Extruder Graphic  shown below uses SpecView drawing tools to arrange data in an unambiguous way and shows both numeric values and Bar charts

Creating and Editing GDW's

 

Note: Files with the .GDW or .GD3 filename extension cannot be used alone. Consequently they cannot be used by SpecView if they have been separated from the other files in the Project sub-folder that they were created in.

 

Auto save & recovery of screens (GDWs) will save changes at a specified interval for later recovery in the event of failure. In this case, a list of saved items will be displayed so the items to be recovered can be selected:
