Web Server - Status

Please read through the Web Server section to learn more about SpecView's Web Server features.

 

As of SpecView 3.1.267, this variable is available to users.

This variable is an enumerated type with the values: Disabled, Idle, Web Values, Screen ReadOnly, Screen with Clicks, and Desktop with Clicks.

 

Disabled - The Web Server is disabled. To enable the Web Server please read through Web Server - Setup.
Idle - The Web Server is enabled. However, there have been no requests to the server in the past 60 seconds. To access the Web Server through a remote browser please read Web Server - Access on browsers.
Web Values - The Web Server is enabled and users have requested Web Values. For more information on Web Values, please contact a SpecView representative.
Screen ReadOnly - The Web Server is enabled and a request for a screenshot of the SpecView screen area with no interaction capability has been made.
Screen with Clicks - The Web Server is enabled and a request for a screenshot of the SpecView screen area with limited interaction has been made. (SVClicks)
Desktop with Clicks - The Web Server is enabled and a request for a screenshot of the entire PC screen, including the Taskbar, with limited interaction has been made. (DTClicks)

 

This variable is useful in identifying when a user has remotely accessed the project through the Web Server.

Additionally, this variable can be utilized with Strategy Controller to automatically perform certain Actions such as swapping to a new GDW when a user remotely access the project through the Web Server.
